 "Orthi Ammos", the long sandy beach of Frangocastello is only 700 m away, 10 minutes walk.

 

There are some very nice gorges in the area. Hora Sfakion is in a distance of 10 km, from where you can go by boat to Loutro, Agia Roumeli and the Samaria Gorge.

A regular daily bus goes to Chania - Rethimnon - Plakias - Heraklion.
